You are assessed and a unique treatment is "prescribed" and executed to address your problem. If you so desire I will even show you stretches or ergonomic corrections in your lifestyle to break the pattern of the behavior that is causing the problem and prevent it from recurring. My goal is to help break the cycle of pain and help you solve the problem permanently. Stone Massage - Hot and cold stones are used in this ancient therapeutic treatment. The hot stones allow the muscles to open up and receive deep work with no discomfort. Cold stones are used to help flush and re-oxygenate injured or over-stressed muscles.
Pregnancy Massage - During the nine months of pregnancy the female body experiences dramatic physiological changes and is under great structural stress. Pregnancy massage therapists are required to have special certification to meet the special needs and limitations of a pregnant woman.

Chair Massage mainly focus on upper and lower back, neck and shoulders, hands and arms and head. Who can use a Chair Massage: people on the go, at the airport, Health Fairs, Meetings, wedding rehearsals, Sport events.
Swedish Massage
Is
the most requested massage today, not only because of the long term effects
in the body, but also for the calming,
soothing
and pampering feeling during the session. It is no longer a luxury,
expensive and out of budget.
Swedish massage combines effleurage (long strokes with the palm of the hand throughout the body), kneading and friction the surface f the muscles with assisted movement of the joints. It relaxes the mind and body, warms up and flushes toxins out of the muscles and improves circulations and range of motion.
The receiver lies on a massage table especially designed to add comfort during the session, properly draped with towels or sheets exposing only the area to be worked on.
Deep Tissue

Uses slow strokes and deep hand pressure on tight areas, either following or going against the grain of the muscles, tendons and fascia (the connective tissues that cover, support and connect the muscles and the inner organs). It releases patterns of tension and restores suppleness and length (See Sport Massage).

What is the difference between regular massage and sports massage?
Basically, non-sport massage is more superficial and does not target specific muscle groups that are used in sports activity.
In sport massage, the techniques are designed to benefit muscles by warming and softening tissue, realigning muscles fibers, helping to heal scar tissue and flushing toxins from specific muscles. A regular massage may relax you and make you feel great, but it won't specifically benefit the muscles or body parts that you've stressed in you workout.
In summary, regular sports massage can:

You may customize your massage session, by using a combination of two types of massage styles to suit your needs. For instance if you are preparing for a sport event or have returned from it.
Or have returned from work and want to be pampered with a Swedish massage but also have a problem with specific area (Neck, lower/upper back, arms etc.) or taking the day off and decided to have time for yourself and indulge in a relaxing time with body work.
